50 Cent recently released a new book called Hustle Harder, Hustle Smarter and he joined Van Lathan on XXL's IG for an interview last night.

During the chat, 50 was asked about his strained relationship with his son, Marquise Jackson. 50 responded by saying "It is sad, it's a sad situation. He went on to say "When you pray for success, you don't necessarily pray for the things that come with it. It's no such thing as success without jealousy without envy or entitlement." 50 went on to say that he would pay over $1 million in child support and that Marquise "had everything I didn't have." 

When Lathan asked if he loved his son, 50 said that he "used to."

50 explained, "I didn't think that success would cost me my firstborn but it's the situation it is. Like, my grandfather used to say, 'If it rattles like a snake and slithers like a snake, is it a snake or do you need to be bit?'" OUCH! 50 also compared his son to rapper Tekashi 69 and said he would choose him over his own flesh and blood. We all know that Tekashi snitched on the Bloods to receive a lighter sentence and it worked. He is known in the industry as a rat now but hes a free rat.

Family is important so we hope 50 Cent and Marquise works things out in the future. Something tells me it will be down the road. Im anxious to check out this new book. 50 never disappoints! Get your copy! its everywhere!
