This is an absolute shocker. No one saw this coming. The mayor and the police department were in shock just like the rest of world and they weren’t happy about it. The police department had spent so many long hours working on this case all for nothing. You can of course see where their frustration comes from. First, we started out with 3 charges then It went to 16 felony charges and now everything is dropped. One interesting thing is double jeopardy doesn’t apply to Jussie’s case because it didn’t actually go to court. He could still be charged later but its very unlikely. Sources say the lady who use to serve as Michelle Obama’s Chef of Staff became very interested in this case and reached out. We aren’t sure if this was what caused all charges to be dropped but someone did give Jussie a second chance. You can love it or hate it, but his record is wiped clean.
