The AMA awards committee said they want to party with Cardi, so they are making it happen. This is the 5th year in a row that a Black female will host the show. I love the Black Girl Magic in the industry right now! We fought hard to get to this point. Cardi is the first female rapper in AMA's history to win Favorite Hip Hop song twice. She is actually up for three awards this time. Cardi said that she was so excited when she received the invitation to host the AMA, and she can’t wait to bring her personality to the stage.
The award show will be held at the Los Angeles Microsoft Theater Sunday November 21st on ABC at 8pm. The nominees have been released and social media is in a frenzy. Stay tuned.....
