DA BRAT HAS LOVE FOR R KELLY. IS SHE TAKING UP FOR HIM? IS SHE STAYING NEUTRAL? DOES SHE BLAME HIM?

Well if you haven’t heard yet Da Brat was asked about R. Kelly on the red carpet. She wasn’t ready to be questioned about her childhood friend. R Kelly and Da Brat grew up together and have been very close friends since kids. Da Brat said she has so much love for R. Kelly, they had the same music teacher and they ran in the same circle. She said although she has never seen him do anything bad, she knows all these women can’t be lying. She was kind of reluctant, but she did say he needs some help. She then asked a very important question which is where were the parents. This is a common question and you can’t get mad when people ask where are the parents. The important thing to note here is that no one is taking any blame away from R Kelly when people ask where were the parents. Everyone just wants to know because these girls as young as 14. Da Brat said the parents need to take their responsibility in all this. Da Brat asks why don’t you know where your 14 year old daughter at? As a parent you should know this. You can tell she is very split on this entire situation which is understanding because she actually knows R. Kelly. We just know him when it comes to Bumping and Grinding. No fun intended. Da Brat did say she’s not taking R Kelly off her play list, but she may not buy any new music. She does feel that her friend needs help and we are sure most people feel this way.
