EBAY MAKES THE DECISION TO PULL KOBE BRYANT MEMORIAL ITEMS FROM THE SITE SAYING ITS AGAINST POLICY.

EBAY has a policy where they do not allow listings that attempt to profit from human tragedy or suffering. Anyone looking to cash in on Kobe Bryant Memorial items are going to have to go elsewhere because EBAY isn’t having it.

There was one seller that tried to sell items from the memorial and EBAY sent this message: "Please note, due to the sudden and tragic passing of Kobe Bryant - eBay has made the decision to prohibit the sale of merchandise, images and mugs relating to his passing. We do not allow listings that attempt to profit from human tragedy or suffering".

TMZ reported shirts, pins, programs and other items from Monday's event at Staples Center hit the auction site this week. One XL shirt sold for a whopping $2,025.

The site does not prevent the sale of other items like jerseys, autographs, photos, signed basketballs etc. These type of items have been in high demand since Kobe Bryant’s death a month ago.

We respect EBAY’s policy and stand behind it 100%.
