This is what Robyn Crawford had to say about coming forth with her relationship with Whitney Houston. Robyn and Whitney met in their teens, they were both Summer Camp Counselors. Robyn told Whitney " I’m going to look out for you". She did for the next 20 years. It started with a kiss then things went to the next level. Robyn says they wanted to be together but after Whitney signed a record deal with Clive Davis the physical part of the relationship ended. Whitney said if they keep going the way they were, it would make their journey even harder. Robyn says Whitney thought if things came out about the two, it could be held against Whitney and her career. They also never used labels like the word lesbians. Sources say it was clear the two loved each other. Robyn Crawford now lives her life as a fitness trainer. Her partner is Lisa Hintlemann, who happens to be an executive at a talent agency.
