JLO SAID LETS GET LOUD AND PROUD AT THE SUPER BOWL HALF TIME SHOW. WAS THERE A MESSAGE?

JLo wore a Puerto Rican flag. Children appeared in orbs that looked like cages. Beyoncé and Jay-Z sat during the national anthem. Were they all saying something? Yes and No.

Were Beyoncé and Jay-Z making a political statement when they sat during the national anthem? Was Jennifer Lopez alluding to President Trump’s immigration practices by having children sitting in cage-like orbs? What about that Puerto Rican flag? You are probably asking yourself all these questions.
Jennifer Lopez hasn’t made an official statement but of course the rumor mill start running. Many believe JLo used her half time show to take a stab at Trump’s immigration policy.
When it comes to JayZ and Beyonce sitting through the National Anthem, no they were not making a political statement. Jayz said he was working and immediately jumped into "artist mode," making last-minute sound adjustments and commenting on the performance to his wife. He said
"The whole time we're sitting there, we're talking about the performance," he explained. "Then right after that, Demi Lovato comes out and we're talking about how beautiful she looked and how she sounds and what she's going through in her life and to be on the stage, we're so proud of her.
I hope that cleared up somethings for you guys. The Super Bowl was amazing and I said I have to make it to the next one.
