Jussie Smollett role has been slashed in the wake of the attack scandal because of the growing sentiment that he staged the attack. He was suppose to have 9 scenes and a big musical number which 5 scenes were cut and his musical number was slashed. Leaving him with 4 scenes which he will not be the focus in any of them. If Jussie was looking for a higher level of fame, he didn't get it.
