Ok this is what we know so far. A nine member jury decided that “Dark Horse” was stolen from a Christian rap song called “Joyful Noise” The song was released by Marcus Gray (co-author) under the stage name Flame. We aren’t sure how much money is at state but I’m sure its going to be very lucrative since “Dark Horse” is such a big hit. The case is now in the penalty phase where the jury will decide how much the plaintiffs owe for copyright infringement. Go to you tube and sample both and make your own decision. The beat definitely sounds the same.
