LALA SPEAKS OUT FOR THE FIRST TIME ABOUT HER DIVORCE TO CARMELO ANTHONY ON POWER 105.1

Angela Martinez and Lala are good friends so no one was surprised when she chose her girls radio show to finally talk about her very public divorce to Carmelo Anthony. Lala doesn't owe fans anything but we are happy to know a couple details and that she's in a good space now. The pair have been broken up for years now but Lala made it official earlier this year by filling for divorce. Lala said she has dealt with the emotions of the break up but admits it was very hard. She said it was even worse because it was public. The two have been married for eleven years. It seems as if Lala was the only one married while Carmelo was living a single life. The pair share a 14 year old son and they do a great job at coparenting. Lala said she still has her moments but for the most part she's dealt with it and can laugh finding humor in it all. She said if you don't find humor in it you will go crazy. I guess you have to laugh to keep from crying. Lala admitted that she did turn to therapy to help her heal. Therapy is a great thing, I hate that it has a bad stigma around it. On another note, It's very sad that people around her said she should have expected him to cheat since he's an NBA player. Thats NOTHING any human being should just expect.
When you have been with someone for 15 years this had to hurt. I feel like he hurt her down to her core. LaLa even said "marriage I don't think i could ever do that again"
