Then I had to get myself together and read what she actually said. Believe it or not the story is actually really sweet. So here we goes...... Simone Biles biological mom Sharon is also her father daughter. Biles stated , “Its crazy explaining to people because I’m like, my biological mom is also my dad’s daughter and I call him dad. So it’s just like everybody’s hella confused… It’s a whole family tree. My parents are my parents. I got chosen. Feeling blessed.
In short Simone was adopted by her grandparents because she ended up in foster care when she was just 3 years old because her biological mother Sharon suffered from alcohol and drug abuse. Simone’s biological mother was unable to take care of her children as she went to jail often and left the Biles siblings in hunger and fear. Without her grandparents Simone Biles wouldn’t be where she is now, the world’s most celebrated gymnast ‘the G.O.A.T’ and now worth $16 million! To sum it up, her grandparents raised her and she calls them mom and dad. That was a lot easier right?
