THE NAACP AWARDS HAD A FEW SURPRISES. LET US TELL YOU WHAT HAPPENED.

Beyoncé was named Entertainer of the year, beating NBA Super Star LeBron James and Chadwick Boseman, The Black Panther. Jay Z won the Hip-hop Icon award and received The President’s Award for his efforts through the Shawn Carter Foundation and serving as co-founder of the Reform Alliance. Jay Z dedicated the award to his 93 year old grandmother Hattie White. Bruno Mars was named outstanding male artist. Danny Glover aka Childish Gambino walked away with best music video “This is America”. Nothing so far is a surprise until we hit you with what happened next. Omari Hardwick walked by Jay Z and up to Beyoncé to congratulate her and he kissed her on the check, hugged her and kissed her again but this time closer to the mouth. He was kind of gansta with it. I thought it was sweet but from the looks of The Carter’s he should have rethought that move. Maybe he forgot he was Omari that night instead of Ghost lol. Still Ghost has nothing on Jay ijs. Now here comes our next surprise but I’m not really sure how surprised we are. Chris Rock was there to present Outstanding Comedy Series and he was told no Jussie jokes but of course that didn’t stop him. He started by saying “What a waste of light skin. Do you know what I could do with that light skin? That curly hair? My career would be out of here. I’d be running Hollywood. What the hell was he thinking? You are Jessie from now on. You don’t get the U no more, That U was for respect, You ant getting no respect from me”. Ummmm we wonder who else feels the same way.
