Today was a funeral but it turned into a celebration of life. Aretha Franklin's funeral was today and it was bitter sweet. We still cant believe she is gone but she's not in pain anymore and she's with our Holly Father. The world was caught by surprise a couple weeks ago when we heard the Queen wasn't doing well and could leave us any day now. The fact that she was struggling with cancer wasn't public knowledge so we didn't know what was going on. When we found out what was really going on she was almost gone. We lost a legend and a ICON. Her funeral was mixed with a wide range of emotions. She was truly loved by all. Her funeral was filled with the very thing the Queen loved most and that was music. Today she was remembered by so many and several celebrities came out in honor of the Queen. We heard music from Chaka Kan, Ariana Grande, Jennifer Hudson, Faith Hill, Ronald Isley, Patti Labelle and Fantasia. We hope we aren't missing anyone. It was such a touching funeral even we are lost for words. #RIPArethaFranklin #WeMissYou
