Waiting to Exhale Live: Atlanta, Grab Your Girls and Leave the Drama at Home

Atlanta, grab your best girlfriends and prepare to exhale because one of the most beloved films and soundtracks of the 1990s is coming to life at the Fox Theatre.

Waiting to Exhale in Concert takes place Friday, November 6, 2026. Doors open at 6:30 PM, and the show begins at 7:30 PM.

This is more than a regular movie screening. As Waiting to Exhale plays on the big screen, an all star group of vocalists and a full live band will perform songs from the legendary soundtrack.

The evening will feature Avery Sunshine, Alexia Jayy, Inayah, The Amours, and Melanie Fiona. The live band will be led by acclaimed music director and producer Adam Blackstone.

Fans can expect music made famous by Whitney Houston, Toni Braxton, Brandy, Mary J. Blige, Chaka Khan, Faith Evans, SWV, and other R&B favorites.

Songs featured in the experience include “Exhale,” “Sittin’ Up in My Room,” “Not Gon’ Cry,” “Let It Flow,” and “Count on Me.”

In other words, somebody may arrive looking polished and leave ready to block a number, call her best friend, and start over by Monday.
